Seasonal Events

Throughout the year, Cedar Brook hosts complimentary seasonal events designed to celebrate the moment and bring our community together. From family-friendly traditions to festive gatherings, these events are a simple way to enjoy the season, explore the garden center, and make lasting memories.


Cedar Brook reopens for the season on Monday, March 2 at 9 AM. Join us as we welcome spring with early arrivals of plants, seasonal décor, and fresh inspiration for home and garden. Our team will be on hand to help you plan for the season ahead.

MARCH 2
SEASON OPENER:

Celebrate spring with a family-friendly day at Cedar Brook on Saturday, April 11 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Enjoy a festive scavenger hunt, seasonal treats, hands-on crafts, and visits from friendly animals—all while exploring the garden center together. It’s a joyful way to welcome the season and make spring memories as a family.

APRIL 11
SPRING FAMILY FUN DAY:

Grab your friends and join us for a fun and relaxed evening out at the Duck Cup Store on Main Street on
Thursday, October 1! Enjoy complimentary samples of our savory crackers and delicious sea salt caramel while you browse, shop, and unwind.

As a special treat, the first 25 guests will receive a FREE plant (variety to be announced).

Come sip, sample, and spend the evening with us — it’s the perfect excuse for a midweek night out!

OCTOBER 1
LADIES NIGHT OUT:

Celebrate the start of the holiday season at Cedar Brook during our Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 21 from 9 AM to 5 PM. Enjoy a festive day filled with seasonal décor, family-friendly activities, and winter-inspired fun. Guests can visit Santa in our Winter Wonderland, meet the Grinch, gather around the fire for s’mores and sweet treats, and enjoy creative kids’ crafts.

The day also features opportunities to create a seasonal spruce planter and explore thoughtfully curated holiday décor throughout the garden center. It’s a joyful way to gather, create, and celebrate the season with family and friends.

NOVEMBER 21

2026 Workshops

Our hands-on workshops offer an opportunity to learn, create, and grow alongside our knowledgeable team. Designed for gardeners of all skill levels, these guided experiences provide step-by-step instruction, quality materials, and plenty of inspiration to take home with you.

From seasonal planting projects to creative container designs and specialty gardening topics, each workshop is thoughtfully planned to help you build confidence and cultivate new skills.

Workshops require advance registration and a participation fee, which includes materials unless otherwise noted. Join us for a fun, educational experience and leave with something beautiful you created yourself.
